Meet BRYAN
With an academic background in Chemistry, Bryan brings over 15 years of experience working with students across private boarding and day schools in the United States. He has served as a chemistry faculty member, Director of Research, college counselor, and Dean of Students. His teaching philosophy centers on making complex concepts accessible, fostering critical thinking, and equipping students with practical problem-solving skills they can apply beyond the classroom. He has designed undergraduate-level research curricula and led independent research cohorts to peer-reviewed publication. He works with students of all learning backgrounds, from those with learning differences to gifted learners. Whether in the classroom or in a one-on-one session, Bryan is known for high expectations paired with high support, pushing students to excel while ensuring their success is earned through hard work and genuine understanding. In his free time, he works in strategy and operations at a venture backed climate tech startup.

Bridging the microscopic and everyday worlds, chemistry can feel daunting at first, but Marcus aims to help students move past a survival mindset and build confidence in the material. His tutoring philosophy rejects rote memorization in favor of building ideas from understanding, creating a productive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking any question. By developing custom materials tailored to how each student thinks, Marcus moves away from a one-size-fits-all approach to equip learners with the tools to break down complex topics independently long after sessions end. With years of experience working online with a wide range of learning styles, he has developed a coaching style that transforms complex concepts into clear, usable ideas.
