Meet BRYAN D.

With an academic background in Chemistry, Bryan brings over 15 years of experience working with students across private boarding and day schools in the United States. He has served as a chemistry faculty member, Director of Research, college counselor, and Dean of Students. His teaching philosophy centers on making complex concepts accessible, fostering critical thinking, and equipping students with practical problem-solving skills they can apply beyond the classroom. He has designed undergraduate-level research curricula and led independent research cohorts to peer-reviewed publication. He works with students of all learning backgrounds, from those with learning differences to gifted learners. Whether in the classroom or in a one-on-one session, Bryan is known for high expectations paired with high support, pushing students to excel while ensuring their success is earned through hard work and genuine understanding. In his free time, he works in strategy and operations at a venture backed climate tech startup.

Gabriel believes chemistry is both foundational and fascinating, vital to understanding everyday life and the world’s biggest industries. Gabriel’s tutoring style emphasizes patience, efficiency, and leaving no loose ends—he’s focused on helping students truly grasp chemical concepts rather than just memorizing facts. By building a solid knowledge base and preparing for tests along the way, he ensures that every student’s time is well spent during the sessions and their confidence in chemistry steadily grows. In his free time (away from Chemistry) he enjoys music production and video editing.
