Meet OMAR
Omar’s thoughtful, practical approach helps chemistry students develop the confidence and reasoning skills required for high-level achievement. He brings a strong command of how interconnected chemical concepts fit together and guides students in making those connections rather than treating each topic in isolation. Omar has worked with numerous students already bringing proven strategies to students he works with. His lessons are highly interactive: students work through problems aloud, learn productively from mistakes, and refine their approach until they can tackle unfamiliar questions with greater independence. With particular attention to the demands of IB Chemistry and Internal Assessments, Omar helps ambitious students develop the analytical confidence and exam technique needed to pursue top exam results. Omar was recognized as a top IB HL scorer when he took IB Chemistry in the past.

Meet ANASTASIJA
Anastasija is a PhD candidate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst whose research in electrochemistry and sustainable chemical systems brings real-world perspective to her teaching. Having experience teaching and mentoring students across high-enrollment general and organic chemistry courses and laboratories, as well as high school IB Chemistry courses, she is adept at making complex material accessible without oversimplifying it. Anastasija meets students at their current level, adapting her approach until the underlying logic clicks. She helps them build intuition that will carry them through assessments, such as the annual IB examination. Her goal is for students to leave each session confident in why the solution works—a foundation that makes chemistry more manageable, engaging, and enduring.
